As a stylist at Swizzlesticks in Calgary for 25+ years I had the opportunity to build my skillsets through industry leading training offered through AVEDA Salons. These experiences and training have made me the stylist I am today. And, as much as I would like to say that my biggest passion is hair — I can't! Don't get me wrong I absolutely love what I do, BUT for me it is the opportunity I get day in and day out to take care of people (my clients). Making someone feel amazing about who they are AND how they look is truly a DREAM CAREER for me!
The one thing I cherish the most in being a stylist are the relationships I have had the absolute privilege of building over the years. Every day — YES, EVERY DAY — I look forward to seeing my clients and sharing our lives — like old friends!

I have been creatively working as a hairstylist for 18 years. I specialize in corrective color, blonding and master barber theory. I have a personal commitment and true passion to continued education behind the chair and to new stylist mentorship. I hold certification in five different extension application methods as well as advanced training in various color lines. I am highly experienced in straight blade facial shaving as a truly relaxing addition to any male haircut service.
Throughout my career I have always strived to provide an above average client experience in my chair. Combining my technical proficiency with my expertise in a personalized guest experience. I am particularly proud to embrace all of the most current, innovative coloring and styling techniques.
In my spare time I love to garden and do all things craft! I am from Vancouver Island and spend our beautiful sunny days on my bike here in Calgary.

As a hairdresser with over 30 years of industry experience, I am both commited to my clients and passionate about my craft. My precision and attention to detail has led me to being recognized with a provincial award for the best Men's Haircut. I have worked at some of Calgary's most reputable salons, including Jerome, The Ginger Group, and Swizzlesticks.
Outside of the salon I enjoy fitness, spending time with my daughter and unwinding with a podcast or a good book. I look forward to meeting you!

For me, hair isn’t just about the style; it’s about the connections I make with my clients. I cherish those relationships and enjoy making every visit a relaxing and fun experience.
When I'm not in the salon, you’ll probably find me diving into video games or hitting the trails for a hike. I believe a little adventure and creativity go hand-in-hand, and I can’t wait to bring that energy to your next haircut!

For me, is never just hair. It’s about people, the stories they carry, the weight they let go of, and how they want to feel when they step back into the world.
I’m still new to the industry, but I know I’ve found my calling. This work allows me to show up for people in a way that feels honest and personal. It’s a chance to offer presence, care, and something meaningful in both the result and the experience.
I don’t rush. I don’t cut corners. I give my all every time because I know how much it matters to feel truly seen.
Outside the salon, I find my biggest inspiration in philosophy, music, and travel. These are the things that keep me curious, help me grow, and remind me to stay grounded in what really matters: understanding others and showing up with heart.
