As a stylist at Swizzlesticks in Calgary for 25+ years I had the opportunity to build my skillsets through industry leading training offered through AVEDA Salons. These experiences and training have made me the stylist I am today. And, as much as I would like to say that my biggest passion is hair — I can't! Don't get me wrong I absolutely love what I do, BUT for me it is the opportunity I get day in and day out to take care of people (my clients). Making someone feel amazing about who they are AND how they look is truly a DREAM CAREER for me!
The one thing I cherish the most in being a stylist are the relationships I have had the absolute privilege of building over the years. Every day — YES, EVERY DAY — I look forward to seeing my clients and sharing our lives — like old friends!

I've officially traded in the beach for the mountains! I am an Australian living in Calgary soaking up all the experiences Canada has to offer. I am a Pilates lover, a coffee addict and am always up for an adventure.
I have been in the salon for over ten years and the best part of my day will always be seeing clients excited about their fresh hair. I am a colour specialist and LOVE all things blonde, balayage and lived-in colour.

I'm definitely a small-town girl living in a big city with my dog. It was 11 years ago that I experienced urban culture for the first time, after growing up on a farm and in small towns. I immediately fell madly in love with the vibrancy that the City offered.
It wasn't long before I became devoted to hairstyling. My passion for creating amazing transformations grew after I realized I could express myself creatively and artistically through hair. My favorite part of the job is connecting with my clients and seeing their smiles when their cut and style is an expression of their individuality.

Joining the beauty industry really happened by accident. After working in the Telecom industry for years I was looking for a change — along came an opportunity to work at the front desk at Swizzlesticks Salon in Kensington. When Jennifer approached me to join her team at JMAC Studio I jumped at the chance. The ONLY reason I am here is to focus on the client — it warms my heart to share a smile and help make someone’s day!
